Process
Our process: from brief to breakthrough.
A clear, five-phase process that turns ideas into launched, growing products. You always know what is happening, what comes next and exactly what you are paying for.

Principles
Built for clarity.
Clarity before code
Scope, budget and success metrics are agreed in writing before production starts, so there are no surprises later.
Test early, test often
We validate ideas with real users in prototypes and test builds continuously, when fixing problems is still cheap.
Measured by outcomes
We define what success looks like at the start, then track it through launch and beyond.
The five phases
Step by step.
Phase 01 · Kickoff
Discover
Every engagement begins with listening. We learn how your business makes money, who your customers are, what has worked before and what has not. We review your analytics, competitors and existing assets so that we start with facts rather than assumptions.
What happens
- Kickoff workshop with key stakeholders
- Customer and user interviews
- Analytics, competitor and market review
- Technical audit of existing platforms
You receive
A discovery summary with goals, audience insights, risks and opportunities.
Phase 02 · Planning
Strategy
We turn what we learned into a plan: what we will build, why, in what order and how success will be measured. Scope, budget and timeline are agreed in writing, so everyone knows what 'done' looks like before production begins.
What happens
- Success metrics and KPIs
- Scope, sitemap or feature roadmap
- Channel and content strategy where relevant
- Fixed, itemised proposal and timeline
You receive
A signed-off strategy and project plan with clear milestones.
Phase 03 · Creative
Design
Our designers explore concepts, then refine the strongest direction into detailed, responsive designs. For products and websites we prototype key journeys and test them with real users before development starts, when changes are still cheap.
What happens
- Concept routes and moodboards
- Wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Usability testing with real users
- Final UI, brand assets and design system
You receive
Approved designs and prototypes, ready for build.
Phase 04 · Production
Build & Test
Developers build in short sprints with a live staging link you can review at any time. Our QA team tests alongside development rather than at the end, so issues are caught and fixed while context is fresh.
What happens
- Sprint-based development with demos
- Content population and integrations
- Cross-browser and device testing
- Performance, accessibility and security checks
You receive
A fully tested product on staging, signed off by you.
Phase 05 · Ongoing
Launch & Grow
Launch is carefully planned, from redirects and analytics to monitoring and rollback plans. Afterwards we measure real-world performance and keep improving through SEO, marketing campaigns and product iterations.
What happens
- Go-live checklist and monitoring
- Team training and documentation
- SEO and marketing campaigns
- Monthly reporting and improvement roadmap
You receive
A live product that keeps getting better, backed by real data.
Craft in motion
Every phase ends with something you can see, click or measure.

FAQ
Process questions.
Usually a short weekly review or demo, plus feedback on shared work. Discovery and key design reviews need a little more time from decision-makers, and we schedule those well in advance.
Change is normal. Small adjustments are absorbed along the way. For larger changes in scope, we explain the impact on time and cost in writing before anything changes, so there are never surprises on an invoice.
You get a dedicated project lead, a shared project board, a Slack or Teams channel if you prefer, and a weekly update. Designs are shared in Figma and development progress on a live staging link.
Yes. We work with clients worldwide and plan meeting times that overlap sensibly with your working day.
A short brief or a call is enough to begin. We will ask for access to relevant accounts, brand assets and analytics during discovery, and guide you through exactly what is needed.
